Wellow History Society

Wellow Album - Open Day - 27th October 2012

In 2011 the Hampshire Record Office purchased an album of 109 drawings showing scenes of village life in Wellow in the 1840s.  With the co-operation of the Record Office, the Wellow History Society displayed photographs of the drawings alongside photographs of the same sites at the present day, in the exhibition illustrated in the accompanying photographs.  The Society also published a booklet showing 40 of the drawings with brief information on all of the drawings (see Publications).
